1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using GovPrep (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

GovPrep is an interview preparation platform for Australian public sector roles. We provide content including STAR responses, cover letters, talking points, and resume analysis. The Service is a preparation aid and does not guarantee employment outcomes.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass usage quotas or rate limits
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the platform
  • Resell or redistribute generated content commercially

5. Generated content

Content generated by GovPrep is based on the documents and information you provide. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use. Generated content may not be perfectly accurate and should be treated as a starting point, not a final product.

You own the content you upload and the content we generate for you. We retain no rights to your content beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

6. Subscriptions and payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@govprep.com.au.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, GovPrep is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to employment decisions made based on generated content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings, which permanently removes all your data.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
